Fill a Box for An Infant

We ask that all donated items are new in order to give children in foster care the very best!

Thank you for your interest in putting together a complete Box of Love for an infant! The approximate value of a full box is $500. We understand that this is a substantial amount of money and we are so incredibly grateful for your support! That being said, if you end up missing a few items, please don’t stress. Simply let us know which items are missing and we can fill them in with our supply.

All items MUST be new.

 

Please use a Sterilite 66 quart plastic tub with latching lid. Starting on the bottom of the box:

2 pairs of shoes (size 5T or 6T )

2 pairs of pajamas size 24 months for the season it will be two years from when you are making the box

4 outfits size 24 months for the season it will be two years from when you are making the box (complete outfits include a top and a bottom or a one piece romper)

2 pairs of pajamas size 18 months, for the season it will be 18 months from when you are making the box

1 package socks, size 6-12 months

1 package socks size 0-6 or 0-3 months

then add the following items to the top of the box (all new):

 

  • blanket

  • small stuffed animal

  • small "lovey" blanket (the small square of material with a little stuffed animal attached)

  • swaddle blankets

  • baby wash, shampoo and lotion (preferred brands are Johnson and Johnson or Up and Up from Target)

  • baby towel and washcloths

  • diaper cream

  • newborn diapers and wipes

  • bibs

  • burp cloths

  • bottles (preferred brand Dr Brown’s)

  • pacifiers (size 0-6 months)

  • small baby toy, rattles, teethers, etc

  • one or two board books

  • copy of Guess How Much I Love You

 

If you would like to also include a diaper bag, you are welcome to do so. You can put some of the items from the top of the box into the bag.
