Boxes of Love is a grassroots effort to provide babies and children going into foster care with a large box of new clothing, pajamas, shoes and other comfort items to call their own…A Box of Love.
Boxes of Love partners with Randall Children’s Hospital, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, Legacy Good Smaritan, Salem Hospital and Providence Portland Medical Center to provide babies and children being discharged from the hospital into foster care with a Box of Love. The project also provides boxes to children through DHS Child Welfare on a case by case basis.
